Connected to the spirit of conserving biodiversity in Indonesia, we introduce our commitment and contribution in preserving Indonesia’s natural sustainability through innovative and sustainable empowerment initiatives.

In 2018, the Relung Indonesia Foundation officially became a legally recognized national institution. Thus, the Relung Indonesia Foundation holds a legal entity, independently established in accordance with Indonesian regulations. As a foundation, it possesses its own organizational structure, autonomy, and flexibility in fundraising and program development.
The Indonesian Environmental Resilience Foundation, abbreviated as the Relung Indonesia Foundation, is a metamorphosis of the Relung Institute for Education and Community Empowerment, which has been actively engaged in activities at the grassroots level since the year 2000. This institution thus possesses a fairly intricate level of grassroots work experience. Relung Indonesia is dedicated to awakening awareness and fostering concern among various stakeholders regarding the sustainability of natural systems that support human life on Earth.
The Relung Indonesia Foundation collaborates with various parties, including government entities (both at the regional and national levels), corporations, civil society communities, NGOs, academics, as well as communities residing in forest areas. Relung Indonesia believes that involving communities in efforts to enhance societal well-being through sustainable empowerment is crucial for the success of conservation efforts. Additionally, Relung Indonesia also believes that dialogue is highly essential in establishing a robust and effective collaboration.

This program is part of efforts to empower the public regarding environmental issues, as well as fundraising initiatives for the sustainability of conservation work.
