This program aims to enhance the well-being and resilience of impoverished and remote communities in Indonesia through the reinforcement of sustainable livelihoods and access to basic services. Grounded in the principles of sustainable livelihoods, the program will focus on five aspects of asset capital: human, social, natural, physical, and financial, which influence the choices, opportunities, and livelihood strategies of the target communities. The program will be implemented through four main components, including enhancing community capacities in agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and micro-enterprises; bolstering social networks; improving access to and quality of basic services; and increasing community participation in decision-making processes. It is expected that this program will enhance income, food security, health, education, as well as the capacities and confidence of the target communities, thereby creating significant positive impacts in inclusive and sustainable development.
